Once you complete your HIPAA compliance package, it is recommended to "Generate a Package". It is not necessary to download your package since everything is stored within the system. However, many clients download their package and share certain policies with their employee new hire package.
When you scroll down, look on the left side of the navigation panel. At the bottom, click on "Download Documents".
If there are any documents you have not completed, they will be listed and you will have the opportunity to complete them before you generate your package.
You may click "+Generate New Package", but those documents that have not been completed will not be included. This may take a couple of minutes.
Then you may click "Download".
Each time you add or terminate employees, update your inventory, change policies, or conduct a new risk analysis, you should “+Generate a New Package”. This is your documentation of your on-going compliance efforts safely secured in our cloud system. You may download the package to a local hard drive or a on a shared drive for employees to have access to your policies and forms.
